I love it! Those strawberry plants look soooo awesome - that must have taken forever! I could see your work in children's books (if they're not there already).
Thank you so much! Yes, it took a while, but I took advantage of painting, then copying and pasting what I painted to make multiple plants and berries.
I wrote a little book for my nephews about the little fire fighter frog and sent them copies of all my recent paintings. They really love them and made mom and dad read to them a couple of times.
Kids seem to really like these critters. My co-worker has a son who is now a collector of my prints and pastes them around his bed. If I get even one little smile, it's worth it! It really is.
It's funny, I had all that empty air above the strawberries that I needed to do something with. After a failed attempt at a windmill, I did the birdhouse, which is something you really would not want around a real berry field. But this is a special berry field where all critters are welcome!

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.

I bet actually knowing the author/illustrator makes it that much more special for them, too!
I really like them as well - I am a big kid in a lot of ways
I am a big kid, too, which is probably why this type of art is appealing to me. It's just "me."
